I finally got around to flushing the coolant on my old truck last weekend. The stuff that came out was rusty and grimy, so it was definitely overdue. I just followed the manual, drained the radiator, ran some distilled water through it, then refilled with the proper mix. It's running cooler now and the heater works way better. It's one of those simple jobs that can save you from a big headache down the road.
